Position Overview:
We are seeking compassionate, tech-savvy nurses from all specialties to join our expanding telehealth team. As a Telehealth/Remote Nurse, you will provide remote health counseling, routine and specialty care, and pre- and post-operative support to patients referred from our network clinics. This role offers flexible part-time and full-time opportunities, with a minimum monthly patient volume of 200. Nurses may also supervise and collaborate with support staff as part of our multidisciplinary care teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Care & Counseling:
    • Conduct virtual consultations for patients with a wide range of non-dental health concerns, within your nursing specialty.
    • Provide routine, pre-operative, and post-operative care using secure telehealth platforms.
    • Utilize both synchronous (real-time video/phone) and asynchronous (store-and-forward) telehealth approaches to deliver care.
    • Document all patient interactions and maintain accurate, up-to-date electronic health records (EHRs)
  • Collaboration & Supervision:
    • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
    • Supervise and mentor support staff as assigned, fostering a collaborative and supportive virtual work environment.
    • Participate in interprofessional team meetings and case reviews.
  • Compliance & Best Practices:
    • Adhere to all state nursing board regulations and telehealth guidelines, including holding active licensure in the state(s) where patients are located.
    • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all relevant privacy and security standards for telehealth.
    • Obtain informed consent for telehealth services and maintain the same standard of care as in-person visits.
    • Complete required telehealth training, public and insurance-specific guidelines, and state-specific compliance enrollments.
  • Technology & Remote Work:
    • Use telehealth technology platforms for patient care, communication, and documentation.
    • Maintain a secure, private, and professional remote work environment with reliable internet connectivity and necessary hardware/software.
    • Assist patients in using telehealth technologies and troubleshoot connectivity issues as needed.

Required Qualifications:
  • Valid nursing license (LPN, RN, NP, CRNA, or other) in at least one U.S. state; willingness and eligibility to obtain additional state licenses as required (Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) preferred for RNs/LPNs).
  • Degree from an accredited nursing program (ADN, BSN, MSN, or DNP as appropriate for specialty).
  • Board certification in your specialty, if applicable.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in your nursing specialty.
  • Experience with telehealth platforms and EHR systems, or willingness to learn.
  • Strong communication skills and comfort with both synchronous and asynchronous telehealth approaches.
  • Ability to manage a minimum monthly patient volume of 200 patients.
  • Commitment to patient-centered, high-quality care and collaborative practice.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Multi-state licensure or eligibility for expedited licensure via the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
  • Prior telehealth experience and/or telehealth certification (e.g., Ambulatory Care Nursing Certification, Certified Telehealth Nurse).
  • Experience supervising or mentoring clinical support staff.
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills.
  • Familiarity with insurance and public health guidelines.

Work Environment & Technology Requirements:
  • 100% remote, work-from-home position.
  • Flexible scheduling; both part-time and full-time roles available.
  • Must have a private, secure workspace, high-speed internet, and a computer with video/audio capabilities.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms (e.g., Zoom for Healthcare, Doxy.me, or similar) and EHR systems.
  • Employer-provided software accounts and technical support available.
