Samsung SDS America is seeking for a Senior Solution Architect to build the technology vision for the External B2B Team, supporting engineering-level discussions for both pre-sales and post-sales engagements with customers, and defining and carrying out projects that will provide technology differentiation for Samsung SDS solution platforms.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining a technology strategy in alignment with Samsung SDS's portfolio, implementation of SDS and Samsung solutions and software for customers, ongoing technical support for Samsung solutions, and pre-sales engineering efforts. The candidate should have experience with both solution delivery, architectures, as well as customer and partner-facing engagements to drive various CIO-level initiatives.

This role will support our Zero Touch Mobility (ZTM) Team. The Zero Touch Mobility service is a solution provided by Samsung SDSA in collaboration with ServiceNow. Zero Touch Mobility provides automation for the entire lifecycle of corporate mobile devices. Make mobility management effortless.

This is a 100% remote role that can be based anywhere in the US. The Team is based in Eastern Time Zone.

Responsibilities:

  • Define the technology vision for the External B2B Team.
  • Plan and execute technology development projects in collaboration with Samsung SDS America B2B Sales, Samsung SDS HQ, Samsung affiliates, partners and customers.
  • Build an alignment and collaborate with B2B Business Unit, SDSA Director of Application Development, as well as the Samsung SDS HQ Product Development Team.
  • Support B2B Business Unit in Samsung SDS America in execution of mobile, SaaS platform, AI, and IoT solution initiatives.
  • Provide technology thought leadership to Samsung SDS America's customers and partners.
  • Articulate technical concepts to all audiences, including C-level executives and customers.
  • Oversee complex technical discussions with customers for both pre-sales and post-sales support related to SDS products.
  • Identify key growth opportunities leveraging the B2B Team's core technical capabilities.
  • Foster a culture of operational excellence, accountability, innovation and collaboration.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
  • 8+ years in cloud and/or mobile technologies and a deep knowledge of enterprise IT solution architectures.
  • Deep expertise in software / SaaS solutions, mobile technologies, and related technologies.
  • Extensive knowledge of ServiceNow architecture, including platform capabilities, integrations, and customizations.
  • Ability to articulate complex ideas in a simple and understandable manner.
  • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills, including ability to build clear observations, analysis and conclusions based on customer interviews and data.
  • Experience implementing, configuring, and customizing ServiceNow per client requirements.
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills, including effective oral and written communications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified Solution Architect.
  • Knowledge of Government and Regulated Industry security standards is a plus.
  • Track record of creating IP, either proprietary or open source.

The base pay range for this role is USD $144,000 - $176,000 per year. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills.

Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus. U.S.-based employees have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, and wellbeing benefits, among others. U.S.-based employees also receive, per calendar year, up to 10 scheduled paid holidays, and Paid Time Off.
