The following position is to join our RTX Enterprise Services Process and Systems Transformation (PST) Team:

RTX has an opening for an Associate Director, Business Systems and Transformation - SAP Ariba and Business Network (Associate Director, Business Systems and Transformation) position.

We are seeking an experienced leader with experience transforming and modernizing organizations.  Supply chain, SAP Ariba and SAP BusinessNetwork experience is desired.You will lead the business team in the design, configuration, and implementation of an enterprise-grade procurement and supplier management system for a major defense organization. The ideal candidate will lead the business team while partnering closely with the Digital Technology team, ensuring that SAP Ariba solutions align with corporate procurement strategy, compliance mandates, and mission-critical supply chain needs.

What You Will Do:

Process and System Transformation

  • Lead the end-to-end transformation of the Supply Chain moving away from a variety of heritage processes and systems and towards a consolidated future state set of processes and  SAP Ariba and Business Network system.
  • Lead the effort to drive to new standard process and system usage across the enterprise.
  • Work closely with technical teams, partners and business units.
  • Support testing, data migration, and deployment activities across multiple business units.

Business Process Analysis

  • Oversee workshops with stakeholders to capture procurement processes, workflows, and pain points.
  • Guide team to define best practices for eProcurement, supplier collaboration, and contract management within a highly regulated defense environment.
  • Support the team developing business process documentation, user stories, and process flow diagrams.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Act as a liaison between business users, procurement teams, IT, and external vendors.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies to program-level leadership.
  • Coordinate with compliance and cybersecurity teams to ensure adherence to DFARS, ITAR, and other regulations.

Continuous Improvement

  • Recommend process enhancements to improve efficiency, automation, and user experience.
  • Monitor KPIs and system performance post-implementation to ensure business value realization.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Minimum of 12+ years’ experience leading IT or Supply Chain Teams and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or related field or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree
  • Strong understanding of procurement, sourcing, supplier management, and contract lifecycle processes.
  • Experience with Ariba integration to SAP ERP (S/4HANA or ECC) or similar.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Defense Contract Management andFAR/DFARS compliance frameworks.
  • Background in large-scale digital transformation or ERP modernization projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of supply chain compliance and regulatory needs in the aerospace and defense industry.
  • Experience working in defense, aerospace, or other regulated industries.

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
