Position Overview

As an Associate with our firm, you'll be responsible for managing all aspects of workers’ compensation cases of varying degrees of complexity, including:

  • Handle all aspects of litigation from intake up to settlement or trial.
  • Interact well with our clients for legal consultation or advice, which includes insurance carriers, employers, and third-party administrators.
  • Create litigation plans.
  • Proactively handle files with precision and expertise.
  • Create budget plans, if necessary.
  • Prepare cases for trial and conduct them while maintaining exceptional client interaction.
  • Negotiate or transact any matter for or on behalf of clients.
  • Represent clients at depositions or other discovery matters.
  • Communicate with clarity and professional integrity to convey complex legal matters.
  • Guide non-attorney team members as needed.


What we expect you’ve got

  • Member of the California State Bar in good standing.
  • 5+ years of experience as an attorney in Workers’ Compensation Defense.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Comfortable using technology in a paperless environment
