Job Posting Title: E&R Analytics Manager (Hulu) Req ID: 10134822 Job Description: We are seeking a data-driven and analytical strategist to join our team as an Engagement & Retention (E&R) Analytics Manager, focused on driving subscriber growth, engagement, and retention through actionable insights and experimentation. In this role, you will provide end-to-end analytics support to drive data-informed decision-making across Hulu and Disney marketing initiatives. Leveraging your expertise in marketing operations and experimentation, you will help shape lifecycle strategies and recommend how we communicate with users to keep them actively engaged with our content. You will collaborate closely with leaders from CRM, CLM, and Strategic Growth teams to manage campaign operations, reporting, and testing—from initial planning through post-campaign analysis. Your work will ensure we’re targeting the right audiences, tracking performance across multiple channels and tactics, and translating results into compelling data stories. The ideal candidate combines strong interpersonal skills with technical proficiency in SQL, Tableau, and Excel along with a solid foundation in statistical methods. Responsibilities: Analytics Strategy & Execution: Deliver comprehensive analytics support for Hulu Growth, Engagement & Retention initiatives, including CRM, on-channel house ad marketing, and strategic offers. Translate data into recommendations to marketing stakeholders that help increase customer retention, reactivate dormant users, and optimize revenue. Experimentation & A/B Testing: Design, implement, and analyze A/B (and multivariate) tests to identify tactics that drive successful marketing campaigns with an emphasis on understanding why a tactic worked to encourage reproducibility Leadership Reporting and Communication: Summarize monthly campaign performance for adhoc and triggered campaigns, focusing on actionable insights to communicate to executive leadership Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with lifecycle marketing, CRM, brand, and growth teams to shape go-to-market initiatives and assess seasonal offers and promotions. Operational Support: Design, develop and maintain Tableau dashboards for use by marketing leadership and program managers Project Ownership: Lead analytics projects from hypothesis development to final recommendations, developing a compelling data-driven storyline to communicate to senior leadership. Basic Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in data analytics or a related discipline. Strong proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau). Proficient in A/B testing, experimentation design, and statistical analysis. Ability to understand a business problem and translate it into an analytically answerable question with minimal guidance. Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience delivering presentations to stakeholders at all levels. Familiarity with statistical concepts, tools (e.g., R, Python) and data warehousing. NICE-TO-HAVES: Expert knowledge of statistical modeling or machine learning techniques. Experience in streaming media, subscription services, or consumer tech. Familiarity with Hulu and Disney’s product ecosystem and audience engagement strategies Education: Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field. The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $141,900 to $190,300 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
