A hybrid work option may or may not be available.<br /> We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Design & Communications Trainee to join our People Experience Strategy team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about visual storytelling, workplace culture, and designing content and compelling visuals that attract, engage, and retain talent for a leading entertainment studio!<br /> RESPONSIBILITIES<br /> • Support a wide range of written and visual communications to support the People Experience Strategy team's key objectives, priorities, and initiatives<br /> • Design graphics for internal communications, recruitment campaigns, onboarding materials, and employee engagement initiatives<br /> • Assist in developing employer branding campaigns that highlight Sony Pictures' culture, values, and employee experience<br /> • Create visual assets for career sites, LinkedIn, newsletters, and internal presentations<br /> • Participate in creating and reviewing training materials and documentation to support change management activities<br /> • Collaborate with People Experience and Talent Acquisition teams to ensure brand consistency<br /> • Support the creation of templates and design systems for scalable content<br /> • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh ideas to elevate our visual identity<br /> • Occasional event coordination/support and general administrative duties (maintaining brand book, file management, project tracking, etc.)<br /> QUALIFICATIONS<br /> • Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Marketing, or related field. In lieu of a degree, 4 years of relevant work experience.<br /> • Understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and branding<br /> • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or equivalent design tools<br /> • Ability to balance personal style with corporate branding guidelines<br /> • Interest in employer branding, workplace culture, and people communications<br /> • Ability to multitask and prioritize competing priorities<br /> • Ability to maintain sensitive/confidential information<br /> • Excellent written communication skills and a collaborative mindset<br /> • Passion for entertainment, with an eye for what resonates with diverse audiences<br /> PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS<br /> • Experience with motion graphics or video editing tools (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro)<br /> • Familiarity with collaborative design platforms<br /> • Photography skills a plus<br /> • Knowledge of social media trends and employer branding best practices<br /> The anticipated base salary for this position is $22/hour. This role may also qualify for comprehensive benefits.
