We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at the forefront of advanced technology and the most challenging healthcare issues. This role requires a seasoned RN with substantial experience in neurology and a proven track record of providing care through messaging. The ideal candidate excels at empathy in all interactions and consistently adopts a patient-centered approach in all aspects of patient care. Responsibilities:

  • Triage and respond to incoming clinical messages from patients
  • Demonstrate high-level clinical messaging etiquette and approach in all patient interactions with empathy and care
  • Use assessment skills to understand and synthesize patient needs
  • Gather context for the clinician and use a priority system when triaging messages to their attention
  • Facilitate phone calls to other providers to discuss mutual patient care
  • Perform lab and scan reviews and reach out to the patient with initial findings
  • Assist with medical paperwork
  • Support internal teams to ensure the patient experience is optimal and coordinated
  • Share educational content in support of our online blogs and content library
Requirements:
  • Active RN license: Compact preferred but not necessary
  • Experience providing care over messaging is a must
  • 3+ years experience in direct patient care
  • 2+ years working in a Neurology setting. Experience with headache and sleep disorders is encouraged but not required.
  • Comfort utilizing a variety of practice technologies (EMR, messaging portal, scheduling system)
  • Flexible and willing to pivot quickly on priorities
  • Soft skills: listening, decision-making, and leadership
  • Culture fit: empathic, mission-driven, collaborative, precise, transparent, compassionate, and results-oriented
Hours & Compensation
  • 16 hours per week: This includes an 8-hour Sunday shift. The additional 8 hours can be spread across the week.
  • This is a part-time contractor position, however, benefits for full-time employees can be viewed here should this position turn into full-time in the future.
  •  $36-$40/hr
