About the position

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the execution of key priorities in partnership with the Cyber Defense leadership team.
  • Ensure intra- and cross-team alignment across Cybersecurity and Digital Risk, as well as the broader business.
  • Manage complex and cross-functional projects to better protect the organization by implementing and enhancing processes and technologies.
  • Lead the team and manage individuals to achieve results.
  • Coach and mentor individuals at all levels of the organization, demonstrating tangible results and growth in your people.
  • Attract, hire, and retain top talent for the organization.
  • Develop and scale processes to drive operations and initiatives for Cybersecurity and Digital Risk and Cyber Defense.
  • Define and develop metrics program to track maturity, evolution, and health of cybersecurity program over time.
  • Identify opportunities to use and operationalize existing security investments while also identifying gaps in defenses and recommending new technologies.
  • Work with external stakeholders such as law enforcement, cyber insurers, lawyers and more, as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 7+ years of work experience in IT, including recent background in Cybersecurity.
  • High sense of urgency with strong pragmatic problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to define, build and lead operational rhythms that ensure progress to the organizations shared goals.
  • Skills to drive cross-functional initiatives to completion, preferably in complex business environments.
  • Ability to communicate in a manner which is understandable by non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to achieve objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans, identifying trends and inspiring change.
  • Relationship skills to successfully interact with collaborators across all levels and all parts of the organization.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
  • Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification.
  • Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in a STEM field.
  • PMP, CISSP, CISM, CISA, GC.
  • 10+ years of work experience in IT, including at least 5 years in Cybersecurity.
