They are seeking a Network Operations Associate II to design, configure, deploy, and maintain SAN and NAS solutions, while monitoring storage performance and managing backup and recovery processes.


Responsibilities

  • Monitor storage performance, utilization, and capacity planning.
  • Implement and manage storage zoning, LUN provisioning, and volume management.
  • Coordinate storage arrays from vendors such as NetApp, Dell EMC, HPE, IBM, or Hitachi.
  • Manage data backup and recovery processes, ensuring data integrity and security.

Skills

  • Industry certifications (e.g., NetApp Certified Data Administrator, Dell EMC Proven Professional, HPE ASE Storage Solutions Integrator)
  • Experience with cloud-based storage solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Knowledge of automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for storage management
  • Minimum 8-10 years of hands-on experience in SAN and NAS administration
  • Strong knowledge of storage protocols (iSCSI, Fibre Channel, NFS, SMB/CIFS)
  • Experience with enterprise storage platforms from vendors like NetApp, Dell EMC PMAX/Unity/VNX/PowerScale, HPE 3par, Pure, or Hitachi
  • Proficient in backup and disaster recovery technologies and strategies
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and their integration with storage solutions
  • Strong understanding of network infrastructure and how it relates to storage environments
  • Proven problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex storage issues
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
