ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • We commit to a 5-year agreement.
  • Provide professional primary care medical evaluations, design management plans, and ensure those plans are implemented.
  • Safely prescribe medications, handle refill requests, and complete required documentation.
  • Perform procedures in a safe and competent manner.
  • Complete patient encounter charting within 48 hours of the encounter.
  • Supervise, support, and educate non-physician providers.
  • Interpret lab, imaging, and procedural data.
  • Coordinate and communicate with consultants when clinically indicated.
  • Take after hour calls on a rotating basis shared amongst providers.
  • Maintain patient privacy consistent with applicable regulations and laws.

  • All other duties assigned by the Medical Director within the standard scope of practice for a physician.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family or Internal Medicine.

Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Colorado and in good standing without restrictions.

Unrestricted DEA registration.

Moral and ethically sound with respectable character.

Must have or obtain Colorado DOWC Level 1 Accreditation to support primary worker’s compensation needs.

Must have or obtain DOT FMCSA’s NRCME to complete CDL examinations.

PREFERRED SKILLS

Must demonstrate a compassionate, hard-working, and team-focused attitude and communication style. Able to manage deadlines, patient concerns, and team-member needs. Be highly competent with computers and comfortable operating in an electronic medical record system. Must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Must be willing and able to learn new skills and knowledge. Must work collaboratively with community partners and consultants. Must have excellent typing skills. Must have demonstrated ability to keep on time in clinic and keep up with documentation and clinical demands. If you are not comfortable with some procedures, we have a diverse group of talented providers that can help.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

Must participate in quality improvement and assurance programs/teams, obtain board certification within 12 months of hire, and maintain board certification throughout employment. Must maintain adequate levels of CME to practice medicine and to maintain board certification. Must attend all staff meetings and all other meetings as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $200,000.00 - $250,000.00 per year
