Apply via Dice today!<br><br><strong>Job Title:</strong> Data Analytics Controls Solutions Lead<br><br><strong>Location:</strong> New York, NY / Pittsburgh, PA Hybrid Onsite<br><br><strong>Duration:</strong> 6 Months<strong>Role Overview:<br><br></strong>The <strong>Data Analytics Controls Solutions Lead</strong> will be responsible for defining technical strategy and architecture for a complex data platform integration and migration project. This role involves leading the design of data migration strategies, implementing data and cloud controls, evaluating technology stacks, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.<strong>Key Responsibilities:<br><br></strong><ul><li>Serve as the data analytics controls solution lead for a large-scale data platform integration and migration project.</li><li>Define technical strategy and target state architecture for cloud-based data platforms (e.g., Snowflake).</li><li>Lead the design and execution of data migration strategies from legacy platforms to cloud environments.</li><li>Provide technical guidance in designing target state platforms and solutions.</li><li>Implement cloud and data governance controls across platforms and solutions.</li><li>Evaluate and recommend technology stacks, frameworks, and reference architectures for the target state.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data engineers, business stakeholders, analytics, and reporting teams) to:</li><ul><li>Define technical roadmaps.</li><li>Communicate status, risks, and dependencies effectively.</li></ul><li>Drive design and architecture discussions, ensuring best practices and scalability.</li><li>Build platform roadmaps and define long-term architecture strategies.</li></ul><strong>Required Qualifications (Must-Have):<br><br></strong><ul><li>10+ years of experience in technology design, architecture, or platform engineering.</li><li>Strong hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS or Google Cloud Platform) and related services:</li><ul><li>Data Lakes: S3 or Blob.</li><li>Databases (any 2): Snowflake, Postgres, SQL Server, Redshift.</li><li>Data Transformation (any 1): Glue, Databricks, Data Factory, Coalesce.</li></ul><li>Minimum 2 end-to-end data migration projects (cloud and on-premise to modern cloud ecosystems).</li><li>Hands-on experience implementing data and cloud governance controls:</li><ul><li>Exposure to any data governance tool.</li><li>MDM management.</li><li>Using cloud infrastructure for governance.</li></ul><li>Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to architect complex data solutions.</li><li>Experience working with stakeholders across multiple geographies to provide scalable solutions.</li><li>Proven ability to lead technical design and architecture discussions.</li><li>Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with business, risk, and technology teams.<br><br></li></ul>Education: At least a bachelor s degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Software/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field is required for the project
