The pay range is $89,700.00 - $161,500.00

Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications. Sr. Strategist, Talent Partnerships & Influencer Marketing

As the Sr. Manager, Talent and Engagement Strategist, you will be a part of our celebrity talent and influencer marketing team, where our role is to bring incremental value to – and reflect the values of our brand, business and guest by working with inspiring, inclusive and resonant partners within Creative Collaborations as a part the Target Creative and Content team.

You will define how we plan, develop and activate our strategic roadmap, while inspiring a shared vision with our internal and external partners to meet the needs of the business.

Anchored in the business strategy, you will take a human approach to talent partnerships and ensure that all partnerships are mutually beneficial and are authentically connected to Target’s brand and business priorities. You will lead strategy development that enables our talent to deeper engage with our guests. Your expertise in uncovering and providing unique, unintuitive insights informed by our guest and cultural truths will fuel big ideas and innovation.

You will directly and indirectly lead a team of engagement managers and strategists as this role will be a combination of strategy and operations to ensure effectiveness and efficiencies internally and with our agency partners. You will function as the expert for other internal marketing groups and our merchant partners.

About You:

  • 8-10 year’s experience in Culture, Creative & Brand strategy, or marketing planning
  • Strategic, big-picture thinker who can anticipate, connect the dots and activate teams
  • Strong creative strategy and business acumen with an ability to write a compelling brief and work against a defined strategy
  • Strategic thinker with experience synthesizing information to generate actionable insights
  • Effective track record in collaborating with others to build and scale complex processes while driving strong change management and adoption of the new
  • Ability to manage through ambiguity and can be an objective partner that maintains a Guest-centric focus
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills; proven negotiator and problem-solver skills
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment with focused prioritization and ability to hold partners accountable
  • A growth mindset (resiliency, curiosity, enthusiasm for the future, bias for action)
  • Comfortable taking risks, driving change and supporting creativity

This position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid (known internally at Target as "Flex for Your Day") work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Remote work arrangement means the team member works full-time from home or an alternate location that's not a Target location, does not have a desk at a Target location and may travel to HQ up to 4 times a year. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core role may be performed either remote or onsite at a Target location depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the country of the primary work location, unless otherwise prescribed by Target.
