What You'll Do

Looking for an opportunity to detect legitimate security concerns and monitor for potential security concerns? You'll use various tools and dashboards to monitor the TTEC environment, triage the events to detect legitimate security concerns and respond according to established playbooks. You'll also manage, maintain, and monitor TTEC security solutions and processes to provide Tier 1 Support and Security Incident Management.

You'll interact frequently with other members of the Information Security team and the IT technical teams at TTEC along with the IT Operations and Engineering teams. 

The SOC provides 24x7 security operations monitoring and support for the TTEC core network and services.

You'll report to the Security Operation Center Manager, you're role is impactful as it protects TTEC from data loss and security events.

During a Typical Day, You'll

  • Conduct proactive monitoring, investigations, and mitigation of security events
  • Analyze security event data from EDR, SIEM, Dashboards, etc.
  • Spend time understanding the environment you're responsible for and engage with various teams to gain further knowledge of the environment(s)
  • Recognize potential, successful, and unsuccessful intrusion attempts and compromises through review and analysis of relevant event data
  • Research new and evolving threats with potential to impact the monitored environment

What You Bring to the Role

  • Minimum 2 years experience in Information Systems or IT security-related functions
  • Knowledge of information security principles, concepts, practices
  • Knowledge of networks, firewalls, and operating systems
  • Ability to provide technical advice, guidance, and recommendations to management and other technical specialists on critical information technology security issues
  • Strong analytical skills and able to collate and interpret data from various sources
  • Experience with security incident detection and response

The anticipated range is $60,000 - $75,000. Actual compensation offers to a candidate may vary based upon geographic location, work experience, education and/or skill levels.
