Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced HubSpot Specialist to join our team on an on-going contract basis to optimize and maintain our HubSpot platform. This role focuses on platform setup, data management, automation workflows, and performance analytics to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency. This position will join the Marketing team and work cross-functionally with Sales, Partner Success, CX, and Product/Data/Engineering teams. The ideal candidate will be an independent, full-time consultant and available between 20-40 hours per week.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Platform Setup & Management:

  • Configure and optimize HubSpot CRM, Marketing Hub, and Sales Hub settings
  • Set up custom properties, deal stages, and contact lifecycle stages
  • Manage integrations with third-party tools and ensure seamless data flow
  • Implement proper user permissions and team access controls

Data Management & Cleanup:

  • Resolve duplicate contact issues and merge records with same email addresses
  • Clean and organize contact lists, ensuring data hygiene and compliance
  • Audit and optimize contact properties and custom fields
  • Set up opt-in processes and correlating subscriptions
  • Implement data governance best practices and ongoing maintenance procedures

Automation & Workflows:

  • Design and build automated workflows for lead nurturing, sales processes, and customer onboarding
  • Create property-based automation rules and triggers
  • Set up email sequences and task automation
  • Optimize existing workflows for improved performance and conversion rates

Reporting & Analytics:

  • Develop comprehensive reporting dashboards for sales, marketing, and customer success metrics
  • Create custom reports to track KPIs, campaign performance, and ROI
  • Provide data-driven insights and recommendations for process improvements
  • Monitor and analyze funnel performance, conversion rates, and attribution data

Campaign Support:

  • Optimize current campaigns and assist in creating SOPs
  • Implement tracking and attribution for marketing campaigns
  • Graphic design experience is a plus

Required Qualifications: Please do not apply if you do not meet these requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with HubSpot (Marketing Hub, Sales Hub, CRM)
  • HubSpot certifications preferred (Inbound, Email Marketing, Reporting, etc.)
  • Proven experience with workflow automation and complex property management
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data cleanup and list management
  • Proficiency in creating custom reports and dashboards
  • Experience resolving duplicate contact issues and data hygiene projects
  • Understanding of inbound marketing principles and sales funnel optimization
  • Technical aptitude for troubleshooting and platform optimization
  • Experience with HubSpot integrations (company platform, Apollo, etc.)
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS for email and landing page customization
