We are hiring for a Nocturnist position. A Nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

Qualifications:

  • Board-certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • J1 candidates invited to apply; access to Sound’s in-house visa specialists as well as our licensing and credentialing experts; all required filing fees for the visa are paid and services covered
  • Accepting new graduates, residents, and fellows.
Practice in the Heart of the Community

Flexible Scheduling:

  • 12 hour nocturnist shifts
  • We’re always there to support each other when covering shifts.
  • Full-time nocturnist employment is 120 hours per month.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide care in a smaller, community-based hospital with a level III trauma designation.
  • Work within a multidisciplinary environment supported by 24/7 specialty coverage, including cardiology with a cath lab, general surgery, obstetrics, orthopedics with spine care, neurology (with telestroke support), psychiatry (with an on-site inpatient behavioral health unit), oncology, and nephrology with dialysis capabilities in the ICU.
