They are seeking a Senior Communications Specialist to amplify their corporate narrative and reputation in logistics, aviation, and regulatory spaces, while crafting compelling narratives and managing media engagement.


Responsibilities

  • Dive deep into Wing’s last-mile logistics narrative, mining compelling stories, and developing approaches to share those stories in innovative, high-impact ways.
  • Get familiar with Wing’s regulatory environment and understand the communications levers that can help inform the Wing policy audience in partnership with Wing’s policy and government relations team.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with logistics and aviation media and influencers.
  • Craft clear, concise, and impactful messaging that resonates with target audiences.
  • Manage relationships with the policy team to co-create impactful communications campaigns for Wing and for the drone industry.
  • Represent Wing in trade organizations
  • Brief/prep executives for media opportunities
  • Monitor media coverage and understand the evolving industry and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with agency partners to maximize strategy, messaging and impact.
  • Coordinate technology demos to key audiences
  • Work closely across the Wing organization to find and share relevant messaging externally.
  • Assist in crisis communication planning and execution

Skills

  • 4+ years of experience in corporate communications, logistics communications, or a related role.
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the aviation industry
  • Strong organization and planning abilities.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders, including media
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in B2B communications and public speaking
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace Suite or similar software.
