By undertaking an internship in one of our PR and Communications teams, you will be involved with a wide range of duties, from taking ownership of influencer and media research to maintaining the calendar of events and helping to coordinate PR campaigns.

You will also gain exposure to managing media queries, press releases and events. You will assist in ensuring The Walt Disney Company, together with its subsidiaries and affiliates is portrayed and communicated to the world in a positive and honest light.

Disney Destinations International (DDI)

In this internship, you will gain extensive experience of the processes and standards within a leading travel company – delivering key initiatives and programmes across PR to promote Disneyland Paris, Walt Disney World and Disney Cruise Line across the UK and Ireland. You will gain experience of the PR disciplines and strategy within the marketing processes.

The Walt Disney Studios

Internships in this area will support with the publicity campaigns across theatrical releases into cinema and Disney+ streaming releases across Disney’s production studios ranging from Walt Disney Animation Studios, Disney Live Action, Pixar, Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, 20th Century Studios and Searchlight Pictures.

We have multiple internships available across The Walt Disney Studios. You will either be overseeing the coordinating publicity efforts, including working on the planning and events of Studio releases across the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region, or you will be specifically working with the UK Publicity team on publicity campaigns for cinema, streaming and lifecycle releases in the UK.

Internal Communications

You’ll help bring our stories to life – through creative office activations for shows like The Bear and Rivals, and movies such as Toy Story 5 and Avengers: Doomsday, engaging events and compelling content for our internal channels (think stories, newsletters, video, and more). You’ll also support leadership communications ensuring important messages resonate across teams.

Corporate Communications

Join the dynamic corporate communications team at The Walt Disney Company and get a front-row seat to the world of strategic communications and stakeholder engagement across EMEA.

As a corporate communications intern, you’ll be part of our dynamic press office, supporting high-impact communications plans that shape public perception and brand. You’ll write engaging stories for our corporate website and LinkedIn, contribute to strategic campaigns such as A Disney Wish that works with charity, Make-A-Wish UK and collaborate with teams across the business to tell the wider story of The Walt Disney Company. This role offers hands-on experience in corporate storytelling and reputation management, making it ideal for someone eager to learn how a global company communicates with the world.

Disney Consumer Products (DCP)

DCP brings Disney brands, stories and characters to life through industry leading products and retail experiences. It is the division that produces anything you can physically buy, from apparel to video games, books, toys and beyond. The team works with licensees and retailers to produce and sell Disney products, as well as working with our owned and operated retail function, Disney Store.

You will support the DCP PR & Communications Team in developing consumer-facing news generating campaigns and events that drive sales of our licensed product; engaging with to trade audiences about our campaigns, partnerships and business plans; and engaging Disney employees about Disney Consumer Products’ role in the broader Walt Disney Company ecosystem.

Disney+

You will support the PR operations of the best TV shows in the world, across Disney+ and Media Networks (FOX, National Geographic & WILD) across the UK and EMEA.

You will play an essential role in communications campaigns to drive audiences to watch our range of TV shows - from smash-hits such as Rivals, Paradise, The Bear and Alien: Earth to beloved classics such as Grey’s Anatomy and Modern Family. You will support the delivery of key press materials, assets, and the day-to-day press office management for Disney+.

Working within any of these teams will provide you with a brilliant foundation in PR and Communications in a world-leading media and entertainment business.

This is an office-based internship. 4 days working in the Hammersmith, London office with 1 day working from home (Monday or Friday).

Eligibility

  • Must be a second-year undergraduate student on a placement year course returning to study in Autumn 2027

  • Must have the right to work in the UK already in place

  • Available to start working full time from June 2026

  • Interested in the area you are applying for, whether this is through your studies, experiences, extracurricular activities or a general interest
