It aims to improve developer productivity, system reliability, and operational efficiency.<br><br><strong><b>What You'll Do</b></strong><br><br>We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Architect in the role of a ServiceNow Platform Architect to lead the design, architecture, and governance of our enterprise ServiceNow platform. You will define the strategic direction of the platform, ensure scalable and secure implementations, and partner with business and IT stakeholders to maximize the value of ServiceNow, aligning with the overall TJX IT strategy and vision.<br><ul><li>Define and evolve the enterprise ServiceNow platform architecture and roadmap aligned with business needs.</li><li>Lead the architecture and design of solutions across ServiceNow modules (ITOM, ITBM/PPM, HRSD, CSM, ITAM, GRC, SecOps, Integration Services, Intelligence & AI, ITSM/DevOps, etc.).</li><li>Own platform standards, design patterns, reusable components, and architectural governance.</li><li>Evaluate and drive adoption of new ServiceNow capabilities and releases.</li><li>Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance across ServiceNow projects.</li><li>Lead high-level design, integration patterns, and performance/scalability best practices.</li><li>Partner with ServiceNow developers, product owners, business analysts, and project teams.</li><li>Ensure adherence to platform best practices, security, data model integrity, and upgradeability.</li><li>Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions.</li><li>Partner with enterprise architects and other platform architects to ensure ServiceNow is well integrated within the enterprise ecosystem.</li><li>Influence and educate senior leadership on the capabilities and value of ServiceNow.</li><li>Define and enforce architectural governance processes and design review boards.</li><li>Support the definition and optimization of the Platform team operating model.</li><li>Ensure high quality, maintainable, secure, and resilient solutions by promoting DevOps and CI/CD practices.</li><li>Develop reusable frameworks, reference architectures, and design templates.</li><li>Mentor ServiceNow engineers and technical leads.</li><li>Foster a community of practice for ServiceNow engineers and product teams.</li><li>Stay abreast of new ServiceNow product offerings, trends, and emerging technologies.</li></ul><br><br><b>What You'll Need</b><br><ul><li>10+ years overall IT experience with 5+ years of deep experience in ServiceNow platform architecture and solution design.</li><li>Proven track record architecting large-scale, complex ServiceNow implementations across multiple modules.</li><li>Expertise in core ServiceNow platform components: Service Catalog, Workflow, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, CMDB, Discovery, Performance Analytics, Custom Apps, etc.</li><li>Strong understanding of ITSM, ITOM, CSM, GRC, or other key ServiceNow modules.</li><li>Experience with integration design patterns and technologies (REST, SOAP, JDBC, etc.).</li><li>Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, security, and data governance.</li><li>Hands-on development experience (JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting, ServiceNow Studio/App Engine).</li><li>ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA), ServiceNow Certified System Administrator, Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification.</li><li>Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder influencing skills.</li><li>Bachelor's and/or master's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.</li></ul><br><br><b>Preferred Skills</b><br><ul><li>ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification is preferable.</li><li>Experience designing multi-instance or global ServiceNow deployments.</li><li>Exposure to SAFe Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.</li><li>Knowledge of complementary platforms (Workday, Azure/Cloud, etc.).</li></ul><br><br>Benefits include Associate discount; 401(k) match; medical/dental/vision; HSA; health care FSA; life insurance; short/long-term disability; paid holidays/vacation /sick/bereavement/parental leave; EAP; incentive programs for management; auto/home insurance discounts; tuition reimbursement; scholarship program; adoption/surrogacy assistance; smoking cessation; child care/cell phone discounts; pet/legal insurance; credit union; referral bonuses.
