The Legal Internship placement is an opportunity to work within the Disney+ Legal & Technology Team.  This regional legal team collaborates with Disney legal offices and project teams across Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), working seamlessly to provide legal guidance for The Walt Disney Company’s Direct to Consumer Streaming service, Disney+.

The Disney+ Legal & Technology Team leads on Disney+ product matters, regulatory & consumer law, AI & technology matters, compliance and Disney+ content licensing.

This placement also has scope to work within other legal teams, including but not limited to:  Disney Corporate Legal, which handles company secretarial duties and corporate governance, and Disney+ Production Legal, which oversees the production of Disney+ Original Content.

You will be immersed in the day-to-day business needs and legal matters. This internship will strengthen your attention to detail and stakeholder management as well as your knowledge of the media industry.

Working across these teams, you will get the opportunity to:

  • Hone your legal skills by drafting documents and conducting legal reviews.

  • Dive into legal research, staying ahead of industry trends and ensuring compliance with regulations.

  • Learn the intricacies of contract management and administration, developing a keen eye for detail.

  • Contribute to the success of your department teams through diverse legal tasks, gaining a holistic understanding of commercial legal operations.

  • Learn how to administer and maintain the department systems and legal hubs.

This is an office-based internship. 4 days working in the Hammersmith, London office with 1 day working from home (Monday or Friday).

Eligibility

  • Must be a second-year undergraduate student on a placement year course returning to study in Autumn 2027

  • Must have the right to work in the UK already in place

  • Available to start working full time from June 2026

  • Interested in the area you are applying for, whether this is through your studies, experiences, extracurricular activities or a general interest

  • Strong MS Office, Excel and Google Sheets skills.
