In addition, we work to improve our communities and our planet to help the world live more fully.<br><br>The Associate Applications Developer is responsible for automated testing on our Point-of-Sale solution and Backend services. They collaborate with BBW development, DevOps, product, and vendor teams to develop and implement test automation frameworks. This includes supporting various seamless commerce initiatives such as Point of Sale, Omni-Channel Integration, Hubs, mobile applications, and e-commerce sites. They aide in the creation of CI-CD automation with application monitoring solutions applying a blend of technical expertise, organizational capabilities, and interpersonal skills. This is an individual contributor position that reports administratively to a manager.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Develop and implement exceptional, adaptable, and expandable test frameworks and automated tests to aid a range of testing tasks.</li><li>Work cross-functionally with Development, QA, Product, and vendor teams for new functional and performance test development in support of all project and application initiatives.</li><li>Help in our continuous testing and Shift Left testing efforts by integrating automated tests into the CI/CD pipelines.</li><li>Monitor test execution (automated) and report quality.</li><li>Continuously question the status quo and always strive to improve test automation tools, coverage, and quality.</li><li>Coordinate and manage/influence multiple vendors involved in delivery of our omni-channel capability.</li><li>Collaborate with Product Owners and Product Delivery leads to support testing of initiatives</li><li>Develop continuous improvement plans for existing application changes to include test strategy, resource loading, and advancement of test automation.<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>5+ years of software development experience with at least 4+ years focused in test automation and frameworks.</li><li>Demonstrated proficiency in one or more programming languages like Python (Most Preferred), Java etc.</li><li>Strong experience with REST API test automation and GraphQL Testing tools / frameworks (Postman, Py-Requests module - Most preferred, REST Assured etc.) and Web (UI) Automation testing frameworks (PyTest - Most Preferred), Playwright - most preferred, Selenium, Cucumber etc.)</li><li>Demonstrated proficiency with two or more open-source test automation frameworks like, Rest API clients (Requests - Py module most preferred) etc.</li><li>Familiar with progressive test automation techniques like BDD (Behavior Driven Development), POM (page object model), OOP (object-oriented programming), test containerization, test parallelization.</li><li>Proficient with version control systems like Git and source code control management techniques like branching, commits, rebase, code review, merging etc.</li><li>Familiar with at least one public cloud interface like AWS/GCP/Azure.</li><li>3rd party digital e-commerce platform experience such as IBM Sterling OMS, Radial OMS, Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) preferred.</li><li>Passionate about software quality, test automation and continuous improvement.</li><li>Understanding guidelines and IT operations in a critical, always-up, always-available service.</li><li>Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologies preferred.</li><li>Related software development tools such as Jira, Confluence, Rally, TFS etc. preferred.<br><br></li></ul>Education<br><br><ul><li>Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience<br><br></li></ul>Compensation: Base Salary Target 98,000k + Company Annual Bonus<br><br><strong>Core Competencies<br><br></strong><ul><li>Lead with Curiosity & Humility</li><li>Build High Performing Teams for Today & Tomorrow</li><li>Influence & Inspire with Vision & Purpose</li><li>Observe, Engage & Connect</li><li>Strive to Achieve Operational Excellence</li><li>Deliver Business Results<br><br></li></ul><strong>Benefits<br><br></strong>Bath & Body Works associates are the heart of our business.
