Title: Logistics Coordinator (for Mid-Mile) Remote Shift: Sat-Tue: 2200-0800 EST (10 pm to 8 am EST) Please list candidate location with resume. As part of our logistics team, you oversee shipment delivery, transportation processes and systems for the organization as a whole by developing a high-level view of our present capabilities and challenges and forming recommendations for procedural improvements to improve efficiency and support business objectives. You'll coordinate logistics schedules, liaising with key stakeholders throughout the organization to determine and implement efficient planning and use of resources. Duties and Responsibilities - Coordinate logistics schedules between merchants, internal departments and distribution centers - Reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy - Build and tender shipments to partner carriers - Making special shipping arrangements as necessary - Tracking and fixing shipping errors - Preparing bills and invoices - Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards and SLAs - Perform regular audits of logistics procedures to develop and maintain a high-level view of our organizational logistics capabilities - Optimize transport planning in the most efficient way for customer and stakeholders - Maintain proper and accurate Pre-Shipment and Post-shipment Administration - Track and Trace - Proof of Delivery - Overages, shortages, and damaged shipment issues - Evaluates, records, and responds to additional/special service requests (i.e. lift-gate, inside delivery, etc.) - Work with transportation providers and freight payment team to ensure proper accessorial cost and flows - Handle damage and loss claims - Assists in troubleshooting and resolving safety, service, and operational issues Requirements and Qualifications - Bachelor's degree preferred - Prior experience in a logistics and transportation role - Highly effective communication skills, both verbal or written
