We are a rapidly growing leader in the outsourcing industry seeking an experienced HR Coordinator to assist in servicing our growing client base. The candidate is expected to work from home and to attend our annual meeting in NJ. The candidiate must live in the DC area.

Qualifications:

  • Completed Associates degree
  • 3-4 years of experience in human resources, onboarding, 401k administration
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and must be able to problem solve and work independently
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and writing abilities
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Experience in a client service business is a must
  • Experience working in a law firm preferred
  • Experience working in a Corporate office preferred

Responsibilities:

Onboarding/Terminations/Benefits Administration

  • Coordinate the employee onboarding process in PrismHR to ensure new hires are set up accurately and in a timely manner
  • Initiate and track completion of background checks as required
  • Schedule and monitor employee training programs in Mineral as needed
  • Troubleshoot onboarding issues and maintain accurate job titles in PrismHR
  • Monitor I-9 completion and maintain I-9 files
  • Complete state New Hire Reporting requirements
  • Accurately file onboarding and benefits documentation in SharePoint
  • Prepare, send, and file co-employment termination letters
  • Maintain and update the New Hire, Termination, and Benefits tracking Spreadsheets
  • Send new employee onboarding and benefits confirmation email
  • Responsible for managing the benefits mailbox and responding in a prompt and professional manner to employees and clients
  • Manage employee benefit enrollment and terminations, including health insurance, HSA, and other programs on carrier websites
  • Update labor law poster dashboard monthly
  • Update employee addresses with vendors as needed

HR Administration

  • Draft employee handbooks based on client requirements
  • Coordinate Workers’ Compensation process, including preparing applications for new clients and notifying the broker of any client or employee terminations
  • Document management of client and employee files in SharePoint

Other Responsibilities

  • Assist in the Open Enrollment process
