<strong>Job Description</strong><br><br><strong>I. Job Summary</strong><br><br><strong>Remote position with up to 25% travel required. Qualified candidates need to reside near a major airport within the Greater Mid-Atlantic or Capital areas.</strong><br><br>Responsible for overseeing maintenance and repair services for the WMHS fleet, ensuring high-quality, timely, in budget, and in scope service delivery across a diverse range of fleet assets. The incumbent prioritizes work, manages workflow, assigns tasks, and supports vendor and fleet technician performance evaluation processes.<br><br><strong>II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities</strong><br><ul><li>Oversees the day-to-day operations of employees in the maintenance shop.</li><li>Coordinates and supervises all maintenance work and repairs, and monitors progress and quality.</li><li>Reviews driver repairs and other maintenance requests and prepares work order documents.</li><li>Performs mechanical duties as needed.</li><li>Monitors inventory of replacement parts and restocks as needed.</li><li>Oversees personnel including coaching, training, evaluating employee performance, and conducting disciplinary action as needed. Provides input into termination, compensation, and promotion decisions.</li><li>Interprets and ensures consistent application of organizational policies and safety regulations.</li><li>Creates and submits reports as necessary.</li></ul><br><strong>III. Qualifications</strong><br><br>Must live and work in the U.S.<br><br><strong>A. Required Qualifications</strong><br><ul><li>High School Diploma or GED (accredited) </li><li>4 years of relevant work experience. (in addition to education requirements) </li><li>Valid Driver's License </li></ul><br><strong>A. Preferred Qualifications</strong><br><ul><li>Prior experience coordinating maintenance and repair for fleet. Prior experience should include invoicing and asset tracking.</li></ul><br><strong>IV. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific salary offered to a successful candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive pay.<br><br><strong>V.
