Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Microsoft is seeking a Senior Cloud Solution Architect for Data & Analytics to join their International Customer Success Organization. In this role, you will guide customers in leveraging Microsoft Azure for secure, scalable, and AI-ready solutions while leading technical engagements and driving customer success.


Responsibilities

  • As a strategic partner to executive-level business and technical decision makers, you will guide customers in defining and realizing their digital and business transformational targets while leveraging your expertise in relationship building and influencing mentor team in building strategic partnerships.
  • Accelerate Azure projects to production, including guidance on architectural design, technical recommendations, blocker escalations and technical resource orchestration and lead team to actively engage account to drive services consumption and up-sell and cross-set to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual team targets.
  • Act as the technical service leader and technical owner across the entire lifecycle of Success Program services focused on Microsoft AI solutions. This includes aligning service architecture and design with business priorities and requirements, orchestrating build and deployment, managing updates, and supporting change adoption.
  • Demonstrate thought leadership and subject matter expertise across one or more AI service components, developing IP, influencing design and delivery quality, and enabling others through strategic guidance
  • Lead technical engagements across design, build, and operations, removing blockers and accelerating adoption of Azure AI Foundry, Azure Machine Learning, Azure Cognitive Services, Azure OpenAI Service, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Dynamics 365 Copilot, Power Platform AI, GitHub Copilot, and data platforms.
  • Drive positive Customer Satisfaction and become a trusted advisor, providing feedback & insights from customers/partners as you develop and expand impactful relationships with customer and partner architects, C-level Technical Decision Makers (TDMs), and business stakeholders.
  • Develop opportunities to drive Customer Success business results and help Customers get value from their Microsoft investments.
  • Support team technical skilling on Microsoft AI platforms based on area demands & Customer Success goals, share expertise in relevant communities, contribute to IP creation & reuse, and connect gaps and patterns across business and technology areas.
  • Partner with other CSAs, CSAMs, and Product Groups to drive unified delivery and technical excellence.

Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 4+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
  • 4+ years of experience building enterprise-grade, cloud-based analytical solutions leveraging evolving data architectures with Microsoft Fabric (data warehousing, data lakes, lake houses, streaming architectures, cataloguing & governance, and BI) as well as the underlying frameworks and data formats.
  • 4+ years of enterprise customer experience in ANY of the following: leading technical engagements; design and implement secure, scalable cloud architectures and AI-driven data solutions on platforms like Microsoft Azure; Drive adoption, optimize workloads, and ensure long-term business value through strategic guidance and technical expertise.
  • Microsoft is unable to sponsor a work visa for this role due to the nature of the role’s job duties.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 8+ years experience in technical architect, consulting, design and implementation, and/or sales
  • 4+ years experience with cloud-based solution designs, migrations and management of technology
  • Experience creating hands-on Proof of Concepts (PoC), Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) for data analytics solutions and data migration initiatives.
  • Breadth of technical experience in cloud solutions and knowledge in foundational security, infrastructure and network design, and appetite to ride on the AI platform shift and infuse AI into analytical applications.
