Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Charles Schwab is a financial services company seeking a Managing Director, Regional Market Executive for the Northwest region. This role is responsible for leading a territory of approximately 17 branches, overseeing Branch Managers, driving sales excellence, and executing strategic priorities for growth and operational excellence.


Responsibilities

  • Serve as a visible ambassador of the Schwab brand, consistently representing its values in all interactions.
  • Champion enterprise-wide initiatives by leading change management efforts across the region, ensuring alignment and adoption at all levels.
  • Translate corporate-led initiatives into localized leadership messages that resonate with teams and drive engagement.
  • Deliver consistent execution of internal and external sales activities and strategies including design, implementation, training, communication and assessment of initiatives, contests, incentives in support of retail and organizational sales goals.
  • Inspire and motivate teams through transparent communication and coaching, fostering a culture rooted in trust, accountability, and success.
  • Model Schwab’s core values through actions and decisions that earn and uphold client trust.

  • Maintain working knowledge of applicable rules, regulations, policies, and procedures, and seek compliance or legal guidance when necessary.
  • Implement and carry out Charles Schwab & Co. Inc. policies, procedures and supervisory systems for all the individuals subject to his/her supervision (including individuals who are supervisors). This includes compliance with The Charles Schwab & Co. Inc. compliance manual, business unit specific policies/procedures, federal/state securities laws/regulations and applicable rules of FINRA, NASD, MSRB, CBOE, NFA and exchanges of which Charles Schwab & Co Inc. is a member.
  • Ensure all individuals under supervision, including supervisors, are appropriately qualified through relevant experience, licensing, and training to perform their responsibilities effectively.
  • Distribute new and amended policies/procedures as they are published and provide training on such when needed.
  • Implement appropriate security measures to safeguard Charles Schwab & Co. Inc. books/records and proprietary and client information.

Skills

  • 10+ years of sales and leadership experience in a financial services capacity of similar scale and complexity.
  • Prior sales management experience as well as exposure to other branch functions including Operations, Technology, Human Resources, Supervision, Compliance, etc.
  • Ability to build trust and cultivate partnership, resulting in a positive and effective culture within locations, as well as across the larger team.
  • Consistent record of building and developing strong and collaborative teams through engagement and collaboration.
  • Ability to set clear expectations and hold teams accountable for significant results, raising the team up to their full potential through coaching and support.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Active and valid Series 7; 9/10; and series 66 required.
  • Active and valid Series 24 preferred.
  • Ability to inspire shared vision with a strong drive for results.
  • Strong people, process and business leader. Demonstrates solid discernment and ability to make sound business decisions.
  • Ability to build and sustain strong trusted partnerships with employees, peers and colleagues in other work groups based on mutual trust.
