Position Overview

As a Technical Sales Specialist, you will support our client’s suite of products and services and provide tailored options to meet customer needs. Your role involves connecting with customers, analyzing their needs, and offering customized solutions. You should be agile, self‑driven, communicative, passionate about sales, and genuinely invested in helping others.

Position Details

Position: Technical Sales Specialist (Outbound Telecom Sales)

Status: Part‑Time – Work from Home (20 hrs per week)

Hours: 4‑hour shifts, 5 days a week between Monday and Saturday 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm EST

Pay: $16.20 / hr base + up to $6.80 / hr if fully meeting targets

Language: English

Open to residents of: Quebec, New Brunswick, Alberta

Qualifications
  • Experience in Customer Care, Retention, Inbound Sales, or Outbound Sales is an asset.
  • Sales experience is required.
  • Flexible schedule (including evenings and weekends).
  • Ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Ability to navigate multiple computer systems.
  • Ability to work in a target‑driven environment.
  • Secure area to store company and customer information.
  • Power outlets for both PC and monitor.
  • High‑speed internet (10 MB or greater).
  • Private, distraction‑free space to connect via Ethernet.
  • Apple or Android phone (not mandatory).

Responsibilities
  • Connect with customers coast‑to‑coast.
  • Conduct outbound calls for customer retention, sales, and services.
  • Promote and recommend the latest products and services to customers on outbound sales queues.
  • Manage call flows, provide first‑call resolution, and satisfy customer expectations.
  • Understand the customer’s situation and recognize their needs while providing customized solutions.
  • Create need by educating customers on product & services and execute business strategy that meets or exceeds financial objectives.
  • Meet key performance indicators.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and expand sales opportunities.
  • Take accountability and appropriate action to resolve customer issues efficiently and effectively.
  • Accurately resolve customer questions with a high level of professionalism.
  • Accurately document customer interactions within the appropriate systems.
  • Communicate effectively with customers about account information, products, pricing, promotions, etc.
  • Maintain a high level of competition and product knowledge.
