Job Description:

Some level of awareness to Excel, Access, being familiar with SQL – dealing with large sets of data. Data acquisition tool is in house at Premier, training will be involved. Need people to pick things up quickly. We work with a lot of employees (hospitals and processing data and answering their questions) and internal employees – excellent comm skills are required.

Analyst and with more experience working with hospitals they will move into a Consultant role then Sr Consultant is the progression within this role. (Rate will remain the same as a contractor – the promotions happen if they are hired as an

Remote, location does not matter. Can be flexible on hours. We have a support team if tickets are logged we can get to them the next day. PT doesn’t work as well with our schedules. CT and ET preferred.

3 interview rounds. Intro call (30 min), overview and panel interview (same time back to back that will be 1.5 hour long interview)
Looking to people to manage data ingestion process, not just analyzing data.

Overview with what they will do with the data?
We get patient discharges from hospitals we have over 1,300 hospitals – depending on hospitals getting the data monthly could be 50k to 5k lines of data. ICE coding and billing data within this info they are sending, we load into data acquisition tool and work with them to validate the data. Sometimes we need to go back and forth with member on, cleaning it up, to make it available in the tool.

Hospital 1 could be where are loading, hospital 2 loading it and hospital 3 reconciling to make it available to the hospital and publishing to different quality prescription to use the data to process outcomes – (length of stay, cost, etc. is what hospitals use this data for)

# years exp? Requirement is 4 year degree, can consider candidates right out of college – biggest thing is attention to detail, self-motivated and have aptitude to pick up technical capabilities.
Temp to perm? 12 mo contract and if we have a FTE opening we allow them to apply for this.
