The Role: 

This is a great opportunity to reshape healthcare by utilizing your clinical experience, independent critical thinking and expertise in a collaborative environment. 

  • The Medical Expert (RN, NP, CNM, PA) is a clinical resource for their functional area(s). This role requires a focused approach to providing evidence-informed sessions pertaining to relevant information and guidance on various medical topics. Carrot is developing solutions to optimize health and family-forming journeys, and you can be a part of this change.
  • Understand current pregnancy trends in the US.
  • Understand current reproductive and fertility regulatory trends and clinical practice guidelines in the US
  • Understand current menopause trends in the US
  • Understand current menopause clinical practice guidelines, treatment options, and interventions
  • Utilize clinical experience and skills to engage in discussions and educate others 
  • Lend expertise or knowledge to participate in continuing education programs for Carrot employees as needed
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives and audits to continue to drive an experience that is safe, compliant, and of the highest standards

The required shift for this role is Monday through Friday from 12:00 pm- 8:00 pm PST or Monday and Wednesday through Friday from 10:00 am- 8:00 pm PST.

 

The Team: 

The team consists of a diverse group of individuals with medical expertise in areas such as urology, fertility, mental health, nutrition, and pregnancy. They have a passion for continuous learning and education with an evidence-based approach.

All of them care deeply and are committed to helping individuals: 

  • Understand their fertility and family-forming options
  • Optimize their overall and reproductive health
  • Navigate the fertility and family-forming journey
  • Navigate their menopause journey
  • Advocate for potential aid in menopause symptoms management

 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • RN, NP, CNM, or PA licensure 
  • Minimum of 3 years providing ob/gyn care from pre-pregnancy to postpartum and menopause
  • Superb listening skills and an ability to empathetically discuss pregnancy and fertility-related topics
  • Ability to work independently and understand the difference between good clinical judgment and non-directive guidance 
  • Motivated to expand knowledge on pregnancy, lactation, parenting, and fertility topics
  • Ability to function well from a confidential and private work-remote environment (this is a 100% remote role)
  • Flexibility to adapt with evolving business needs

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience providing patient care in a fertility clinic or a hospital clinic that addresses reproductive health
  • Lactation certified or doula
  • North American Menopause Society (NAMS) certification
  • Fluency in any additional language skills is a bonus

 

Compensation: 

Carrot offers a holistic Total Rewards package designed to support our employees in all aspects of their life inside and outside of work, including health and wellness benefits, retirement savings plans, short- and long-term incentives, parental leave, family-forming assistance, and a competitive compensation package. The starting base salary for this position will range from $110,000- $125,000. Actual compensation may vary from posted base salary depending on your confirmed job-related skills and experience.
