Job description Company Overview: Amazon is a worldwide leader in e-commerce and logistics, dedicated to providing an exceptional shopping experience. As a Amazon Grocery Shopper, you will become part of Amazon’s fulfillment center operations, helping to fulfill the company’s mission by accurately picking, packing, and preparing customer orders with the support of advanced technology and automated systems. Role and Responsibilities: In the Amazon Grocery Shopper role, you will play a key part in ensuring orders are fulfilled correctly and efficiently while adhering to safety and quality standards. You will collaborate with team members to achieve operational objectives and deliver excellent service to customers. • Retrieve customer orders from shelving using handheld devices and company systems. • Package items according to Amazon’s guidelines and customer specifications. • Check products for damage or defects before packing and shipment. • Verify orders for accuracy prior to dispatch. • Report any inventory or order discrepancies promptly. • Use inventory management systems to locate and collect products. • Support restocking and conduct inventory audits as needed. • Follow all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). • Immediately report safety issues or incidents to supervisors. • Work together with colleagues to meet daily fulfillment targets. • Maintain clear communication with supervisors and team members to address challenges. • Operate scanning tools and Amazon’s proprietary software to track inventory and progress. • Process returns and exchanges according to company procedures. • Adapt to shifting tasks and priorities while maintaining efficiency and accuracy.
