Job description Company Overview: Amazon is looking for dependable, motivated, and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Amazon Courier Driver. In this position, you will play a crucial role in Amazon’s last-mile delivery operations, ensuring that packages reach customers safely and on schedule. Courier Driver represent Amazon to the public, exhibiting professionalism, excellent time management, and a dedication to outstanding service. Role and Responsibilities: As a Amazon Courier Driver, you will be responsible for efficiently delivering packages while providing exceptional customer service. Your primary duties include: • Safely transport packages between delivery stations, facilities, and customer locations. • Follow assigned routes and schedules using Amazon’s GPS and mobile tools. • Load and unload packages carefully and efficiently from delivery vehicles. • Use handheld devices to navigate routes, scan packages, and confirm deliveries. • Interact professionally with customers to ensure a positive delivery experience. • Maintain accurate delivery records and promptly report any delivery or vehicle issues. • Follow traffic laws, safety regulations, and Amazon delivery policies. • Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain delivery vehicles in good condition. • Report delays, accidents, or other traffic and delivery concerns to supervisors and dispatchers. Required Skills and Experience: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. • Ability to lift, carry, and move packages up to 50 lbs. • Minimum age of 21 years (subject to local regulations). • Strong organizational and time management skills. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • Good communication and customer service abilities. • Ability to operate a delivery vehicle safely in varying weather and traffic conditions.
